model - Megan Burnett of Blue Fire Bellydance
While I normally don’t start my photographic year off until February, this year I made an exception. Megan Burnett of Blue Fire Bellydance sent me a message letting me know that she was moving and asked if we could move her shoot date up into January. Of course I said yes! It was a long session (about 6 hours) but we got to knock out a few ideas and get lots of stuff for her website and upcoming awesomeness. I honestly wish she wasn’t moving so soon, she’s pretty cool peeps! This image was inspired by the set up and lighting at The Juggling Gypsy Cafe here in Wilmington. The hooka cafe and eatery is a haven for local bellydancers and we both have strong community roots there. If you ever visit this city, you should definitely stop by.
